PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE
It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may be picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We may contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). The buyer is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.
Method Of Shipping:
We primarily ship firearms via UPS ground and USPS Priority Mail. Long guns are almost always shipped via UPS ground, and handguns are almost always sent via USPS Priority mail. We will make the determinations which shipper to use based on the circumstances. All orders will attempt to be shipped within Five Business Days of the time the order is completely processed. Average delivery times once your firearm has been shipped are 2 to 3 business days for handguns, and 3 to 5 business days for long guns.
Cost of Shipping:
Unless otherwise stated, the cost for shipping is not included in the listed price, anywhere in the continental US (lower 48 States). We will ship standardized handguns to Alaska and Hawaii for our standard rate, but oversized handguns and long guns will be subject to additional fees. If you would like a price quote for shipping a firearm to your dealer in Hawaii or Alaska, please ask BEFORE placing your order.
If your dealer does not accept deliveries via our preferred method listed above, we will require an additional shipping fee to ship your firearm due to the extra cost. BEFORE selecting an FFL dealer for your transfer, please be sure that they are able to accept handgun shipments via USPS Priority mail, or long guns via UPS Ground!
PLEASE NOTE: Shipping insurance is NOT included with our Free Shipping offer. On the checkout page, you will be provided with the opportunity to add insurance to the package for a nominal fee. Shipping Insurance covers loss or damage to your firearm that may occur during shipping from our warehouse to your FFL dealer. Please be aware that WildWest-Shooters.com and Wild West Shooters LLC will not be held responsible for lost or damaged packages that have not been insured.
Sales & Use Tax:
Due to recent and continuing changes to state and federal laws regarding sales tax collection, WWS may be required to collect sales tax when you place an order with our company. If this tax is not collected at the time of purchase (as will be clearly noted on your order receipt), please be aware that many, if not most states require that their residents declare any and all internet purchases when filing their state income tax, and pay “Use Tax” (state sales tax) for these purchases. By placing an order with our company, and agreeing to the Terms And Conditions, you certify that you understand and agree that it is your responsibility to abide by the taxing requirements of your individual state. Furthermore, please be aware that many states require the FFL transfer dealer to collect sales tax on the firearm at the time of transfer. If sales tax is not collected through our website at the time of purchase, or if your FFL dealer does not collect sales tax at the time of transfer, or if you fail to disclose your internet purchases when filing your state income tax, please be aware that you may be required to remit the necessary sales tax to WWS at a later date, should the need arise.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 15 business days of purchase.
Sales on the following items are final:
Special orders.
Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
Illumination devices, electronic sights and optics.
USED FIREARMS
Used firearms may not be returned. All sales are final. Description and photos (if available) are provided by the seller.
Returns are ONLY accepted for merchandise found defective upon inspection at your transfer dealer, and BEFORE accepting the transfer from your FFL dealer. If you believe a firearm is damaged,defective, or is missing any parts or accessories (either advertised or expected), please contact us immediately with a detailed explanation of the problem so we can determine the best course of action. For damaged or defective firearms, Wild West Shooters LLC will provide your choice of replacement item (pending availability) or full refund and pay the return shipping cost of the firearm.
Important Note: Please take time to inspect all firearms BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. Once a firearm is transferred to you, it is considered used, even if unfired. As such, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds or repairs, or be held responsible for any missing parts or accessories on ANY firearm once it has been transferred to you! We do understand that some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. However, upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm must be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees of returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer.
Please note: From time to time, manufacturers make changes to their products and specifications, including the accessories included with the firearm or changes to the firearms themselves. While we always strive to maintain a completely accurate website, we are not responsible for errors or omissions in our images or product descriptions. Please contact us if you have any questions about a product BEFORE placing an order.
Customers are responsible for verifying that the firearm they order is legal in their city and state. If a firearm is ordered by a customer, and shipped to a city or state where it is not legal, and your dealer is not willing or legally able to transfer the firearm, the customer will be charged a 15% re-stocking fee. If you are in doubt about the legality of a specific firearm, please contact the dealer who you plan to use for the transfer, BEFORE you place your order.
GENERAL FIREARM SALES
All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering.
All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.
SECURE TRANSMISSION
All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). A Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate (or SSL Certificate) creates an encrypted connection between a Web site and a visitor's Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the Web site and the browser remains private and secure.
Order Cancellation Fee:
We invest time and money to prepare each and every order that is placed with our company, even before the order ships. After you have placed your order online, or over the phone with a sales associate, you will be charged 15% Cancellation/Change fee if you decide to cancel the order or substitute products. You will not be charged any additional fee for adding items to an existing order. By placing an order online or making a phone order with a sales associate, you agree to pay this 15% Cancellation/Change fee should you cancel or change your order. Our business is not set up to change orders easily. We apologize for having to implement these changes, but it is necessary in order to keep our prices low for our customers.
If a customer is declined on their ATF Form 4473, they will be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee to ship the firearm back to us. Please make sure you are legally allowed to own a firearm before attempting to purchase one.
Special Orders:
We are happy to assist our customers with special orders for products that are not currently in stock. Please send us a message through our “Contact Us” page with a description of the product, Manufacturer Part Number (if possible) or a link to the product on another site, and we will try to get back to you within 24 hours with availability and price.
All special orders require a 20% Non-Refundable deposit at the time the order is placed. Under no circumstances are we able to place a special order without this deposit. We only accept special orders for products that are currently in stock or on the way from one of our suppliers, and we expect customers to follow through once the firearm has been delivered.
Firearms:
Wild West Shooters LLC. will ship a firearm ONLY to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). This means we cannot ship directly to you (unless you have an FFL). It is the sole responsibility of the firearm buyer to contact the FFL dealer prior to order fulfillment and confirm the dealers policies, procedures, and any applicable fees they might charge. Upon completion of payment, and after we have received a copy of your dealers FFL, we will transfer your purchased firearm to a licensed gun dealer in your state. It is your responsibility to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer.
Be aware that it is customary for your local dealer to charge a transaction fee at the time you pick up your purchase. This transfer fee is strictly between you and your local dealer. It is your responsibility to check with your local dealer concerning any policy of this kind and concerning your obligations. You do not pay Wild West Shooters LLC. the transfer fee. By purchasing a firearm from us you acknowledge that you may have to pay your dealer a fee for transferring the gun to you. Under no circumstances will Wild West Shooters LLC be liable for reimbursement of this fee.
You, the buyer, are responsible for locating an FFL dealer for the transfer, and providing all pertinent contact information for your dealer to
Wild West Shooters LLC.
Blemished / Certified Pre-Owned / Factory Refurbished Firearms:
Occasionally our Warehouse will receive shipments of Blemished or Pre-Owned firearms. These firearms are all sold as-is, with no guarantee of any sort other than what is offered from the manufacturer directly. Please note that fit and finish can vary greatly on these types of firearms, and as such we are unable to provide photos or ‘cherry-pick’ firearms for customers. If you purchase one of these types of firearms, you agree that WWS will not be held liable for any cosmetic damage to the firearm, and returns will ONLY be accepted at the transfer dealer for functional issues.
ORDER FULFILLMENT
All orders are shipped promptly from a distributor warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 - 10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.
ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS
Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.
AMMUNITION PURCHASES
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition.
